Full of It

Sometimes I look at my fourteen month old and wonder...

how can one person be so small and poop so much?

Are you talking how much as in volume or frequency?
lol
I'm guessing volume.
Wanna have real fun?
Buy some bright blue cupcakes from the grocery store and watch their poo turn wonderful flourescent colors!

Wow, does that remind me of some of our diaper stories. I'll spare you (for now, lol!)
To answer your question, I have no idea. I've wondered the same thing myself!

If you don't remember your thermodynamics courses, maybe your dad can remind you about closed systems, balanced reactions, and entropy.
Fluorescent poop ... ewwww!

I wonder that about my 18mo as well. Every time I put her in a disposable diaper (name-brand!), she manages to poop out of it. Thank goodness she's usually in cloth, though I have to spray those out in the toliet, so I guess it all works out evenly in grossness in the end.

Jay only very rarely overflows his diapers these days, thankfully. He does go probably 2 or three times a day, which must help.

Isn't that the question we posed to ourselves from 1993 to 2001? *slinking away, feigning innocence*

Mary, I really meant frequency, although the production size can also be large. She often will have 5-8 soiled diapers in a day. Ugh.
Patricia, heh. Indeed.

Oh indeed.
Ngaire's thing is infrequency of late, but when she goes ...
