Of course, it isn't actually true. I still have a lot to learn.

Hm. I got 96%. But I don't know which one I missed. Who said they could die in peace after seeing the Christ Child? I wasn't sure about that one...

I got 100% also, although I took an educated guess at several Old Testament questions. dcrmom, it was Simeon.

96% for me, which I think is pretty darned good since half of those questions belong to a bible I don't consider canonical.

Dan, that is a quite respectable score considering you probably don't pay much attention to the last 27 books that we use.
Yes, it was Simeon, who was waiting to see Christ before he died, as Earth Girl said.
Sadly, the part of my education that is the most lacking is knowing the order of the books. I know spurts of them in order, but it was only a good guess that made me get the correct answer to the book following Colossians. My husband and my children are learning handy songs for memorizing all the books in order, but I am having to pick that up as an adult from them, and it is hard for me.

As a former AWANA leader, had I missed any of the questions on order, it would really have been embarrassing. After 15 years of drilling the kids on book order, I'd better know them.
I did hit 100%, but had to think for a minute on a couple of questions.

Ah. I knew John The Baptist was wrong. He died before Christ came, didn't he? Wait, maybe not. Gosh, this is embarrassing. We just studied Mark in Bible Study. But that was my guess. But yes, now I'm doing a big DUH. Simeon. Of course.

No, John the Baptist and Jesus were contemporaries. Remember John lept in Elizabeth's womb when pregnant Mary came to visit.
