As part of our Lenten work, the kids and I have been memorizing the corporal and spiritual works of mercy. It is probably a vain hope, but in my fantasies, I imagine that enough repetitions of "Bear wrongs patiently," will rub off.
As I struggle to force a screaming, flailing toddler into a shirt and pants, I wonder: is clothing the naked still an act of mercy if the naked don't want to be clothed?

My experience is that lessons such as what you are now imparting kick in about twenty years on ;)
I just laughed out loud at the dining table, provoking concerned glances from my children... I am still getting the random odd mental image of a good samaritan chasing a naked homeless guy down the street waving a pair of jeans and a button-down...
:D
You crack me up, Jordana...
My own toddler actually love to dress. About 15 times a day. I am seriously considering padlocks on dresser and closet.
I have wondered that same thing.
That last question is too funny!
